Just some of the details I threw together last minute for my husband’s bday dinner. It was supposed to be a small, informal affair, but I thought of a few things while he was watching Doctor Who last night. :)
New season of Doctor Who premiering Saturday, August 23rd at 8/7c with feature-length episode ‘Deep Breath.’
Watch the teaser here.
For those outside of the US, the teaser can be seen here!
Good morning! Did you see the special announcement yesterday?
I want an episode of Doctor Who where the Doctor meets Anne Frank but her death is a fixed point so he can’t change it so instead he takes her to the future so she can see that it will not always be this way and the world doesn’t end in 1944 and that’s why she writes in her diary “and that’s why, in spite of everything, I believe that people are good at heart” and that she is remembered for her struggle.
DOCTOR WHO PARODY BY THE HILLYWOOD SHOW HAS ARRIVED!
It’s the DOCTOR WHO musical parody you’ve been waiting for! Join The Tenth Doctor, an alien Time Lord who travels through time and space in his TARDIS, in an eye-catching parody that’s out of this universe. People assume that a parody is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it’s more like a big video of wibbly-wobbly, Time Warp stuff. Like the TARDIS, The Hillywood Show® makes a production that’s bigger on the inside and showcases David Tennant’s beloved Doctor in a memorable way. Allons-y!
Watch, reblog and share with fellow Whovians!
If you haven’t seen it yet, this Doctor Who parody by The Hillywood Show is everything a Whovian could ask for, we’ve watched it at least 20 times already.
thepondstakemanhatten requested some Eleven and River being cute together… I hope you like it!
Users outside of the US can watch it here.
For anyone who may have missed it earlier
How would you represent your favorite quote from Doctor Who?
"Yes, I shall come back. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forward in all your beliefs, and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine.”
~The First Doctor played by William Hartnell, Doctor Who, 1966
I love this quote because it relates to anyone you meet in life, like teachers, friends, or even family members. When you have to leave someone who is so dear to you, you should stay strong. Yes, it hurts and I admit that I am not one for goodbyes at all. In fact, I was a wreck when one of my friends moved back to Japan. But we have to remember that we will meet again someday, so we shouldn’t worry or remain broken up about it.
Believe in others.
But most importantly, believe in yourself.
