For 2-5 players, aged 10+, Risk: The Dalek Invasion of Earth lets players fight as either black, bronze or silver Daleks of the classic design, or red or yellow New Paradigm Daleks. But watch out for the TARDIS, sweeping across the board, defending the Earth!
With special power cards to boost your forces or destroy your plans, and special missions to defeat other invading forces, this game of Risk is an epic battle for control of the Earth…and the universe.
This scene is seriously the cutest thing ever.
#Remember when there was a non-human person who hadnt talked to anyone of her species in decades #And her only companion was the man she loved and who ignored her or bossed her around and was rude to her #And Martha met her and the Doctor and Jack were busy doing ‘important shit’ #But Martha was the one who took the time to chat with her #To learn more about her language and culture #Who befriended her #Encouraged her to open up and joked with her and made her laugh #And then because of that discovered what they needed to know BEFORE EVERYONE ELSE #remember that #Remember that time Martha Jones was better than you #God bless Martha Jones
Okay that’s it I’m done with this—for now.
My cat always looks as if he wants to kill somebody (or destroy the universe), so I made a Dalek hat for him and now he can be Cat-Dalek!
What’s the future like?
A new character to be introduced in the new season of Doctor Who, meet Danny Pink played by Samuel Anderson.
Samuel Anderson (The History Boys, Gavin & Stacey) is set to join the cast of Doctor Who as a recurring character in the new season, which will also introduce Peter Capaldi as the Doctor to millions of viewers. Anderson will play Danny Pink, a teacher at Coal Hill School where companion Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) also teaches when the series returns to BBC AMERICA later this year.
Steven Moffat, lead writer and executive producer, added: “For the fourth time in Doctor Who history, Coal Hill School is coming to the aid of the TARDIS. In 1963 teachers Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright accompanied the first Doctor. These days it’s the turn of Jenna Coleman as Clara Oswald. And very soon now, Sam Anderson as Danny Pink will be entering the world of the Doctor. But how and why? Answers are coming later this year in Peter Capaldi’s first season of Doctor Who!”
Fun fact: Tennant forgot his line in this scene and said this instead
